Think Wild currently has openings on our board of directors for community leaders passionate about local wildlife conservation. If you're interested in applying to serve as a full time board member, please inquire through the form below.

We are seeking these attributes from a board member:

  • passion and demonstrated support for local conservation issues related to Think Wild's mission
  • a constructive, collaborative spirit and can-do attitude
  • past non-profit board experience is helpful, but not necessary if you're qualified in other areas
  • comfortable with fundraising and advocating for Think Wild within your network
  • commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization

  • Non-profit management and policy
  • Human Resources
  • Leadership and Organizational Development
  • Biology and Conservation

Board Member Responsibilities:

  • actively work to ensure adequate resources - cultivating funding and community relationships - for the organization
  • be available for monthly board meetings
  • help to ensure effective organizational planning and programming, in collaboration with Executive Director
  • commit to a minimum of four hours of volunteering per month
