We are seeking these attributes from a board member:
- passion and demonstrated support for local conservation issues related to Think Wild's mission
- a constructive, collaborative spirit and can-do attitude
- past non-profit board experience is helpful, but not necessary if you're qualified in other areas
- comfortable with fundraising and advocating for Think Wild within your network
- commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization
We are seeking these skills and experience to add to our board:
- Finance
- Fundraising
- Non-profit management and policy
- Human Resources
- Leadership and Organizational Development
- Biology and Conservation
Board Member Responsibilities:
- actively work to ensure adequate resources - cultivating funding and community relationships - for the organization
- be available for monthly board meetings
- help to ensure effective organizational planning and programming, in collaboration with Executive Director
- commit to a minimum of four hours of volunteering per month
