Think Wild offers onsite educational experiences and group volunteering for adults and youth (or a mix of both)!
These opportunities are available to businesses, organizations, membership-based groups, schools and more. They can be for a half or full-day or multi-day/week projects and are great opportunities to give back to your native wildlife.
Youth Volunteer Programs
Half and full-day projects typically include:
- Support animal care and food preparation
- Animal enclosure and cage cleaning
- Animal enrichment projects
- Animal enclosure outfitting (building ladders, perches, etc.)
- Painting
- Gardening for native pollinators
- Nest box construction
We also have larger projects available, such as constructing a songbird or bat enclosure, for students and youth seeking multi-day projects. These are perfect for Eagle Scouts or college students!
Adult Volunteer Programs
These programs are free, but we encourage your business or organization to make a tax-deductible donation to sponsor the materials and supplies needed for your volunteer day.
Half and full-day projects typically include:
- Enclosure construction
- Animal enclosure and cage cleaning
- Animal enclosure outfitting (building ladders, perches, etc.)
